A mature herbaceous garden with standard trees, foxtail lilies and a sundial, designed by Justin Spink

Garden design practice since 2002

Beautiful, timeless gardens, sympathetic to their landscape.

Based on the border of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire, we undertake private commissions throughout the UK, from small London gardens to large country estates.

Profile

Every garden is unique and should reflect the lives of its owners.

Set up in 2002, Justin Spink Ltd is a garden design practice, renowned for creating beautiful and timeless gardens, sympathetic to their surrounding landscape.

Supported by a dedicated and professional team, Justin works closely with all his clients and is involved in each stage of every project. He likes to maintain an ongoing relationship with his clients, and is always pleased to advise as a garden matures and develops.

The surrounding landscape and architecture are carefully taken into consideration, and the materials we select are always sympathetic to the local vernacular. Encouraging local wildlife is integral to us and is keenly reflected in our planting schemes.

Philosophy

“Through contrasts, of simplicity and detail, colour and texture, mass and void, contemporary and romantic, we strive to create a succession of varied experiences which will entice the beholder to explore.”

Process

Nine stages, from the first site meeting to a garden that matures.

Justin is involved at each stage, and every aspect of the garden is specified in detail before a spade goes in the ground.
